Product Description
Yaos Machinery provides a complete RO water treatment system for purified drinking water, bottled water and other beverage production applications. The system combines multi-stage pretreatment, reverse osmosis filtration and water disinfection to produce stable treated water according to raw water quality, required capacity and finished-water specifications.
The main treatment equipment may include a raw water tank, raw water pump, multimedia or quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, sodium ion exchanger, precision filter, reverse osmosis system, ultraviolet sterilizer, ozone generator and finished water tank. The available processing capacity is 0.5–150 tons per hour, with the treatment configuration selected according to the specific project requirements.
Treatment Process
A typical RO water treatment system can be configured through the following treatment stages:
Raw Water Tank → Raw Water Pump → Multimedia Filter → Activated Carbon Filter → Water Softener → Precision Filter → RO System → Disinfection → Finished Water Tank
1. Multimedia / Quartz Sand Filtration
The multimedia or quartz sand filter reduces suspended solids and particulate matter in the incoming water, helping lower turbidity and providing more stable feed water for downstream treatment.
2. Activated Carbon Filtration
The activated carbon filter helps reduce odors, color and certain organic contaminants in the water. It also provides important pretreatment protection for the downstream membrane process.
3. Water Softening
The sodium ion exchanger reduces calcium and magnesium ions that contribute to water hardness. This softening stage can help reduce the risk of scaling in downstream equipment and RO membranes.
4. Precision Filtration
The precision filter provides additional particulate removal before membrane treatment. The current Yaos specification states that the particle size entering the RO membrane can be controlled to below 0.1 μm.
5. Reverse Osmosis
The RO reverse osmosis filtration system uses pressure to drive water through a semi-permeable membrane. It is designed to reduce dissolved salts and other impurities and is widely used in purified-water production.
6. UV Disinfection
An ultraviolet sterilizer can be integrated to provide an additional disinfection stage without adding chemical disinfectants to the water.
7. Ozone Disinfection
An ozone generator can be included as part of the disinfection system for treated drinking water and bottled-water applications.
8. Finished Water Storage
After treatment and disinfection, the treated water can be transferred to a finished-water tank for subsequent filling or beverage production processes.

Applications
Bottled Drinking Water
The bottled water treatment system can be integrated into complete bottled-water production lines to provide treated water before filling, capping and packaging. Yaos Machinery also provides complete bottled-water solutions covering water treatment and downstream filling equipment.
Purified Water Production
The water purification system is suitable for purified drinking-water production where reverse osmosis is required to reduce dissolved salts and other impurities before subsequent disinfection and filling.
Mineral Water Projects
For mineral water treatment systems, the treatment process should be selected according to the mineral composition and quality requirements of the source water. Not every mineral-water project requires the same RO configuration, so the actual treatment train should be determined from raw-water analysis and the target finished-water specification.
Gallon Water Production
The system can be used as part of a gallon-water production project, supplying treated water for subsequent washing, filling and capping processes.
Beverage Production
Treated water is an important upstream component in many beverage production processes. The appropriate filtration and disinfection stages can be configured according to the beverage product, raw water quality and production requirements.
Why Multi-Stage Water Treatment Matters
A single filtration technology cannot address every water-quality issue. Different source waters can contain different levels of suspended solids, hardness, dissolved substances, organic compounds and microorganisms, so the treatment process needs to be matched to the incoming water.
The combination of pretreatment, membrane filtration and disinfection provides a more complete treatment approach. Pretreatment helps control suspended solids, organic matter and hardness before membrane filtration, while RO provides additional reduction of dissolved substances. UV and ozone can then be used as additional disinfection technologies where required.
This approach also makes the industrial water treatment system easier to configure for different capacities and production requirements rather than relying on one fixed treatment process.
System Configuration for Different Water Sources
The treatment system is not limited to one fixed configuration. Yaos Machinery states that its water treatment solutions are designed around raw water quality, treatment requirements, production capacity and final water standards.
For groundwater, spring water or river water, the required pretreatment stages may differ depending on turbidity, hardness, organic matter and other water-quality conditions.
Before selecting an RO filtration system, a project should therefore consider:
Raw water source and water analysis
Required production capacity
Target finished-water quality
Required disinfection method
Pretreatment requirements
Space and equipment layout
Downstream filling or beverage production equipment
Maintenance and System Support
Regular maintenance is important for stable operation of a water treatment system. Filters, softening equipment, RO membranes and disinfection components require monitoring and maintenance according to operating conditions and water quality.
The RO unit on this system can be supplied with a chemical cleaning device to support membrane maintenance. Actual cleaning intervals and replacement requirements depend on feed-water conditions, operating hours and system design.
Yaos Machinery also provides installation support and technical assistance for complete equipment projects. The current product page states that engineers can be sent to the customer's factory for installation and operator training, with installation generally taking about 10–25 days depending on the machine order. The current stated warranty is one year with lifetime technical support.
