Product Description
The DXGF series is an automatic CSD filling machine developed for the bottling of carbonated soft drinks, soda water, and sparkling water. It combines bottle rinsing, beverage filling, and capping into a single automatic system.
The machine adopts equal-pressure (isobaric) filling technology, which balances pressure between the filling tank and bottle during filling. This filling method is suitable for carbonated beverages because it helps reduce excessive foaming and maintain stable filling conditions.
The filling valve uses an equal-pressure mechanical design for fast filling and accurate liquid-level control. A PLC-based control system monitors the machine operation, while a liquid-level sensor automatically detects the filling tank level.
The DXGF carbonated beverage filling machine is suitable for PET and other compatible plastic bottles with screw or crown caps within the specified bottle dimensions.
How Does an Isobaric CSD Filling Machine Work?
Carbonated beverages require controlled filling conditions because pressure changes can cause dissolved CO₂ to escape and increase foaming. An isobaric filling machine addresses this by balancing the pressure between the bottle and filling tank before the beverage enters the bottle.
The basic filling process includes:
1. Bottle Infeed
Empty bottles are transferred from the air conveyor to the filling machine through the inlet starwheel.
2. Pressure Equalization
The bottle is brought to the required pressure condition before filling. This helps reduce the pressure difference between the bottle and filling tank.
3. Isobaric Filling
The filling valve opens and carbonated beverage flows into the bottle under controlled pressure conditions.
4. Liquid Level Control
The filling process continues until the required liquid level is reached. The machine's liquid-level control system helps maintain consistent filling.
5. Pressure Release
After filling, the bottle pressure is released in a controlled manner before it leaves the filling valve.
6. Capping
The filled bottle is transferred to the capping section and sealed to help retain the beverage's carbonation.

A frequency converter controls the main motor speed, allowing stepless speed adjustment according to production requirements.
7. Stable Bottle Transfer
The machine uses bottleneck transfer technology and a dedicated bottle guide system. The direct connection between the air conveyor and inlet starwheel also simplifies bottle transfer and bottle changeover.
8. Hygienic Bottle Handling
The specially designed stainless steel bottle clamp does not contact the threaded section of the bottle neck, helping reduce potential contamination during bottle transfer.
9. Flexible Bottle Changeover
The bottle guide system is designed for relatively simple adjustment when changing bottle formats. The bottle-out starwheel structure also helps simplify bottle size changes.
10. Food-Contact Materials
According to the existing product specifications, parts that come into contact with the beverage use stainless steel or food-grade plastic.
